We needed a rather narrow (no more than 20" wide) shelf unit to hold fly-tying and leather-working miscellany. We bought the rustic color and it looks great with the rustic walls of the "hobby room." It's sturdy, and it looks good. Assembled, it did end up being maybe 1/4" more than 20" (which surprised me greatly) but we made it work.My father was a mechanical engineer and I assembled and built lots of things with him over the years. I consider myself to be pretty darned handy, yet it took me way longer to assemble this than I expected because the instructions are a nightmare of the useless variety. If you've done this kind of post-and-cam assembly before now, and you lay out the shelves carefully, paying close attention to what goes where, it will work out. Plan on some level of frustration and more time than you expected.The finish product looks really nice!

The instructions to put the bookshelf together were not clear, and the images didn't show always which way to position the boards or showed the wrong way to position a board. The shelf does look like the image, though the side panels have all the screws exposed which isn't what the pictures show. There was a little different paint mark on one part, but the paint was another white so not very visible. Otherwise overall a nice bookshelf.

Make sure to measure your space. Mine fit perfectly. Also the shelves are "fixed" they are NOT adjustable. This was easy to put together by yourself. I bought two, one for each side of a window, they look exactly as I figured they would. No surprises.

Not all the holes were fully there. My husband had to make the holes so we could finish putting the shelves together.

Great looking shelf. Mostly easily assembled. There were some gaps between pieces that we could not make go away. Not sure how that will affect longevity. It really did need 2 of us to hold parts straight for tightening. The screwdriver they send you is not very durable. Have not loaded it yet to see how it does

Very sturdy! During assembly, I was worried it would be wobbly, but once everything was put together it was great! Would recommend. I'm using it as a small nightstand and it works perfectly for that.

This bookshelf is not the most beautiful piece of furniture, but it was exactly what I was looking for and the design and workmanship is top notch for the price. As an engineer I appreciated the design and how easily it all went together.

Sturdy bookshelf and easy to assemble. The package arrived super fast, too. I ordered two items, then discovered the second wasn't needed for my space and wanted to return it. Unfortunately the seller had no means of accepting the return due to understandable shipping issues and offered to let me keep the bookshelf with a partial refund. Idk why, but narrow shelves are impossible to find for a good price. Considering I was able to buy this on sale but still over $50 was crazy to me but I needed a narrow shelf for my room and it does what its meant to. The wood is of decent quality I'll give it that. I still don't think its worth the price but that's just me. Same height as my old normal shelf I've had for years. I just needed a more narrow version. Its a great shelf just a bit pricey. I will buy again if I ever need another one that's for sure.

Bought regular shelves, this matched perfect height. Very satisfied with color and size. Fits perfect as add on for me. Great value. All parts, easy to put together.

It's sturdy enough needed a power screwdriver for one step however which I had to buy. The material was a bit cheap as a couple of screws made the material chip off.
